This is where it happened, or nearby. There is a small dome, right in front of the left hand arch in the series of four or five, toward the upper right hand corner of the photo. This is alleged to be the spot where the most holy place was located in the 1st and 2nd temples. Was the Akedah done there, or a bit to the north (right)? It could have been so, for this is Mt Moriah (rhymes with "story-Yah")
This is another episode in the Story of Yah; and his hopefully soon to return Kingdom.
When the faithful and glorious king returns with the gift of life, we hope that the faithful buried in the foreground tombs will be judged with the mercy they prayed for.
This is viewed from the Mt of Olives. ZecharYah prophecies the feet of YHWH will stand there in the day he saves Jerusalem. Also prophesied is that Yahshua will set foot there too, at his return. I take that as a double assurance of good things to come! Don't miss it!
