This is How I Use EDTA (Ethylene-diamine-tetraacetic-acid)
Its normal form is as a powdered solid, as here. If used to excess, expect diarrhea, and temporary anemia. It is a synthetic form of a naturally occurring body chemical that bonds with unsecured metal or minerals in your body, to make them easier to excrete. This process is called "chelation". It will also remove some good minerals and metals, so you need to "tune-up" your diet, to ensure plenty of nutritional food, and abstain from depleted, partitioned, or other excessively processed food. This is necessary to replace the beneficial stuff lost collaterally to the chelation process. A good start is to eliminate all refined or "white" sugar from your diet, as well as all "white" flour, and any food product that contains them. Read labels. Eggs, turkey, beef, whole grain products, and beans have a lot of minerals. Fresh raw fruit and vegetables are beneficial in many ways. Choose life.
I fill my eye-dropper bottle about 40 0r 50% full of EDTA powder, using a little scoop made from a folded piece of heavy aluminum foil from the seal of a dairy food container, the one under the lid. Then fill the bottle nearly full with distilled water, put the lid back on, shake and stir a bit (you can stir it with the dropper tube), and in about a day, it will be all or mostly dissolved. I use about 4 drops at a time, morning and night. You might want to start with less. I put it under my tongue, and let it remain floating around my mouth for a minute or so. It will taste salty. If it can be absorbed through your under-tongue (sublingual) membrane rather than the stomach lining, it will be more effective. If you are using too much at first, reduce amount used. Too much may give a mild de-tox caused headache, anemia-like lethargy, or excess looseness of the bowels.
It seems to promote general health and vitality through reduction of the level of toxic minerals. It is also reputed to have the effect of gently clearing plaque from arteries. Moderation is the key to its right-use. I got this product at www.amermed.com . I had to specifically ask for it, in its pure bulk form, as they normally sell it only in gelatin capsules, and I don’t like gelatin capsules. Since the toxins pulled from the body by edta are disposed in the fluid waste, and must be filtered out through the kidneys, this product may be harmful to those who have malfunctioning kidneys. You may wish to try drinking Bentonite clay as an alternative to edta chelation, if you have weak or inactive kidneys. Please see article on Bentonite clay use, “Here’s Mud In Your Eye”.
