Temple Mount, from the south end of the Mount of Olives. Note the fulfilment of prophecy; "Therefore, because of you, Zion will be plowed over like a field; Jerusalem will become heaps of rubble and the Temple Mount will become like stone heaps in the forest."

The rubble of the old city is to the left, south of the Temple platform. The forests on the platform are evident, with the Dome of the Rock and others (stone heaps) in the background. (Micah3:12, Jer26:18)  So it was written, so it was done.
